This has been a more eventful weekend than usual. Between planning for the end of summer festivities and packing, I have found myself rather occupied.

I suppose I ought to get used to an eventful life, being as I will be teaching Potions at Hogwarts starting this year.

I might teach your Draco yet, Lucius.
And even your Harry, Potter.

The Ministry is busy, as is St Mungo's, while Death Eaters, children and nonsense abound. I have established a modest apothecary with the help of Professor Slughorn and things continue to go well. It is a true pity about Martin, and I only hope for the best.

Again, I intend to apply for Hogwarts professorship in the coming year. I expect we will see a change soon.

All congratulations to the Malfoys for their child, Draco, who is destined for greatness with such parents as he has. I have heard nothing from Rabastan all day, so I can only imagine that we'll be receiving good news along similar lines soon.

Another spring into another summer with another group of "adult" Hogwarts students offering their meager skills to established employers. I am less than enthused to watch.

I am reassured by the fact that Black, Lupin and the Potters have refused to actually contribute a single thing to the wizarding world. It is much better off. However, Lupin is conspicuously absent, I notice; has he perhaps died? I doubt anyone would notice the absence of such a person, so who knows?
